The firm was founded in 2013 in Bordeaux by Jean-Philippe and Mathieu, then director and senior manager in a Big Four advisory firm, who realised there was both a strong need for assistance in equity transactions and the lack of a specialised player in small cap transactions with a regional focus.
After gaining a solid reputation for efficiency and high quality in the South-West of France, they were joined in 2022 by Armel who expanded the activity in the North-West, then by Pierre-Jean who completed the firm’s offer with strategic analysis. These 4 partners have advised hundreds of transactions over the last 10 years, in all sectors.
CP&A’s mission is to support the regional economic development, thanks to an adapted and agile consulting offer that allows for fluid and secure corporate finance transactions. It translates into a small-&-mid-cap-oriented positioning and a deeply regional DNA.
The firm’s success has shown how right our initial assessment was, as we’re increasingly called upon in other regions, and for further services, such as the innovative strategy consulting offer launched in 2023.
Our high-quality offer is based on an efficient and close team, committed to our project: people are at the heart of what we do, and the firm’s evolution depends on recruiting talented people who share our values.
As a local actor, we know our region's ecosystem very well. Our firm is led by entrepreneurial partners, we actively participate in local economic life, while helping our partners to develop it.
We believe small & mid cap transactions should benefit from high quality support just as much as large companies, and even more. Our internal organisation is thus geared towards the development of our expertise and the accessiblity of our offer.
We believe in the need to commit to a sustainable world. This translates into a CSR plan integrating a better work-life balance for employees, sponsorship operations, implementing our ESG offer, solidarity actions, etc.
Pierre-Jean joined CP&A in 2023 to work on a Strategy offer, after nearly 10 years in strategy consulting in well-known firms and as an entrepreneur. He has helped 30+ groups in their strategic and CSR thinking and advised numerous buy-and-sell transactions for small & mid cap companies.
